About Me
My name is Max Krijger, and I am studying Product Design at the University of Amsterdam. I have a passion for creating innovative products and exploring new technological developments. From a young age, I have been fascinated by how products, both physical and digital, are made and the work that goes into their creation. Partly thanks to my current study, this interest has increased in recent years.
Prior to my current study I studied interior design at the Wood and Furniture College. During this study I learned a lot about spatial design, colors, materials and 3D modeling. My growing interest in product design led me to shift my focus from spatial to product design. Many aspects of my current study are build on what I learned during my previous study, such as conducting target audience analyses and developing project requirements before starting a project.

Although I initially chose the Industrial Design track during my current study, my passion for Interaction Design has grown significantly throughout my study. I am increasingly drawn to aspects such as ergonomics, user research, and user experience design. These areas, which focus on enhancing how people interact with products, will be the central focus of my work in the coming period. I believe that creating intuitive, user-centered designs is essential for innovation, and I am eager to continue developing my skills in this direction.

The Product Design study at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences emphasizes the design and development of physical products. In my opinion, it offers a perfect blend of art education and technical education.
